Last Updated: 5/24/2020
Your use of our website includes the services our company makes available through this website. When we say website, this includes (the site, website, web site, dashboard, services) or any content ("Protect My Reviews content") made available through this website (collectively the "Services") and is governed by these terms and conditions. Always read through our terms of service and before using our services. These terms and conditions are subject to change for any reason or no reason at all, and it's advised to check back often in case anything has changed.
Definitions: Parties: "You," and "your," or "Client" refers to you as you and as a user of our website. A "client" is someone who accesses or in any way uses the service. "We," "us," "our company," "our," and "ProtectMyReviews" refer to our company and our subsidiaries.
Definitions: Content: The content found on ProtectMyReviews and the dashboard in its self – is owned by our company. This does not include the comments collected or crawled on third-party review sites. That information is owned solely and exclusively by the reviewer of the client's product or service. In no way does our company have any affiliation, or owner that information the reviewer posted. The content our company creates is the only content we own. Third-Party Content means the content that originates from the reviewer of the client and has nothing to do with our company.
Definitions: SMS/Email within the dashboard. By using our SMS/Email services from within the dashboard, you do so at your own free will. Our company only provides the necessary tools for you to reach out to your own customers, and in no way is responsible for the amount of times you message a customer of yours, the time you message that customer, or how you do it. It's required that you have the authorization to contact your customers by SMS/Email before using our dashboard. Our dashboard does not allow 911 services through SMS.
Using Our Email & Text Services Prior to using our email or text messaging services, all clients are responsible for getting authorization to email and text message their customers. It is not the responsibility of Protect My Reviews, or the service providers we use to get that authorization. Please make sure that if you're sending text messages or emails through our dashboard, that you have authorization from your customers prior to using our services.
When we mention services, we're not just referring to our website – but also our review monitoring dashboard, analysis, or the services of our agents working on your online review profiles. All of this is considered our service. The signup, upgrade, invoice, billing, the work on third-party review sites are all considered our services.
Security: When it comes to the security of our clients, this matter is extremely important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as login credentials and credit card information), this information is inserted through SSL technology. We encrypt that transmission to ensure that all the information our clients pass throughout the website is secure.
Subscriptions: Some parts of our services require a monthly subscription or, in some situations, an annual subscription. You will be notified in advance of a recurring charge (through our user agreements). Should you wish to cancel or modify any user agreement, it's advised to first contact us before that recurring billing date. A Valid payment method is often done through credit/debit card, and in some cases, check.
Online Review Monitoring: If the client of our company has an interest in the review monitoring aspect (or dashboard), the client represents and warrants that he or she is authorized to release any customer or user information that is provided to us in connection with the services ("Reviewer information"), including personally-identifying information. The information we obtain from the reviewer, on a third-party review website will not violate any applicable contract, statute or regulation.
